2010 ANNUAL REPORT
The Development Review Board (DRB) conducted numerous public hearings in 2010, and considered applications for Conditional Use, Site Plan, Subdivision, and appeals of decisions of the Zoning Administrator. In accordance with State statute, the DRB endeavored to become more of a quasi-judicial body this year by considering new Rules of Procedure, and by issuing decisions in accordance with the Zoning Bylaws, Subdivision Regulations, Municipal Planning and Development Act, statutory law, judicial precedent, and constitutional notions of due process and equal protection. To that end, the DRB was meticulous in issuing its decisions, and frequently recessed hearings pending the submission of additional evidence.
DRB hearings are held at 7:00 PM, the first Tuesday of the month as needed, and are open to the public.
